Dance of Death
Every people, every animals, every plants, everything in this planet will die one day. It’s a fact no one can deny. And for she who carries the stench of death, ‘the end’ itself is the same as breathing.
Annaya never cared much for death; be it of stranger, loved ones, or even herself. And for what it’s worth, neither does life. Both held no meaning in her eyes. One can be on death’s door in front of Annaya and she won’t even lift a finger to help them. What for? They’ll inevitably die one day, whether it’s 5 minutes or 10 years in the future don’t matter for they will die.
But no matter what her opinions are, Annaya is still a living being who need something in her life. To fill the hollow that has been plaguing her heart, Annaya traveled different land and places, met with all sort of different people, hoping to find something that excites her. Something that would make her life worth living.
It was futile for long many years, but at one faithful day, she met him; a man who dances with death for life. For the first time, Annaya was captivated by someone’s will to live. It was stunning; his will, his desperation, everything Annaya believes in crumbling before her very eyes and she didn’t regret it. Not one bit. The dance of death has captured her heart; she knew that she finally found her reasons to live: to watch him dance.
Death shows no mercy, it reaches everyone all the same; even for she who’s death itself. But Annaya prayed that death would lay down its claws off of her for a while longer. Just a little longer. Just until the dance ended.
