Character Summary
Genna is a man of complicated nature, not that it’s a good thing, by any means. His duty as royal shaman (now mind you, shaman is here merely a title, as his duty, no matter how you look at it is closer to necromancy than what traditional shaman do.) has bring him both pleasant and unpleasant consequences, mostly unpleasant if you ask him. Like any other sensible person, Genna has to fake his way to achieve his current level of status; he has to hide his cowardly self and adapt façade of suave gentleman who knows what he’s doing. He didn’t, by the way, know what he’s truly doing.
Be that as it may, Genna knows what he wants: a change. Change to his country’s tradition of reviving dead soldiers. There’s one problem that separates him from his goal, though, that it his fear. Fear of losing everything: family, friends, status, and love. Genna will also lose his job, but it didn’t matter to him. It’s a small price for – what he thinks is – greater good.
He might seem like an idealistic fool, which he somewhat is, but Genna also a realistic one. He knows help is in order, there’s no way he can achieve his goal without someone to back him up. It takes several years before Genna founds a perfect partner-in-crime. His savior comes in the form of Bernadette, a knight – an undead one – who agreed to take the blame of Genna’s action. There’s a catch, of course. There’s always a catch. After it all ends, Bernadette wants Genna to do something. But that ‘something’ will definitely dirtied Genna’s hands. Figuring this is his best bet (truth to be told, he just doesn’t want to wait any longer), Genna agreed.
