Character Summary
Contrary to her duty, or job, or whatever you want to call it, Bernadette is passive and quiet knight whose inner monologue run rampant day to day. Even though she’s part of House Seveth, a distinguished – almost ridiculously so – military household, her predisposition gave the impression of the contrary to casual observers. For once, she’s dirty – in the most literal sense possible - because she thought that a knight, be it male or female or anything in between, should not care much for their appearance but rather put the utmost care to their skill (she made sure she gets the point across by her outdated hair style). Two, she’s gloomy as heck; it’s as if she had supernatural power that transform the mood to depressingly…well, depressing when she’s present.
Bernadette isn’t without virtue, of course, she’s ridiculously adaptable. For example, she accepted her new condition – of being an undead - fairly well; in fact her commander was surprised how hours after she regained consciousness, Bernadette already chewing happily at the canteen (frankly, what surprised him more was how Bernadette able to eat in her current condition). And her reaction when the shaman who revived her “proposed” an alliance is also noteworthy (most of other undead knights, the normal ones, were apathetic or bore resentment towards royal shamans). Apparently, being a traitor to one country isn’t that big of a deal if you’re Bernadette Seveth.
